Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is finally in theaters. We see Miles and Gwen working together again. When will the movie come to Netflix?
It's been a long wait, but it's finally over. The sequel to the wonderfully animated Spider-Man movie is here. Miles is back and once again teams up with Gwen to save the day and the multiverse.
This is not a movie you want to miss. Of course, you will see it in theaters, but you also know that it will be broadcast somewhere to watch at home. Where will this streaming home be? Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse coming to Netflix?
When will Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse hit Netflix?
This is a Sony Pictures movie that is great news for all of us. Yes, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is coming to Netflix in the near future. Sony and Netflix have made a deal to head to Netflix first for 2022 movies and beyond. This agreement may change in the future when the contract expires, but is valid now.
When it happens? Judging by the other Sony releases, we're looking at the movie coming in October or November of this year. It's not too long to wait for it to stream, but I'm sure the kids will want to take you to the movies to see Miles in action again.
Of course, you can also buy and rent the Spider-Man movie on Digital. That means it's available on Amazon Instant Video, iTunes, Google Play and much more. But if you keep your Netflix subscription for all the great originals, you don't need to buy the movie. I'll also eventually turn to DVD and say it's worth the investment when the internet isn't working or the movie is off and you're trying to find your new home.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will arrive on Netflix at the end of 2023.
