Reports prepared after the meeting held at Eskişehir Chamber of Industry to AS Çelik Chairman of the Board Cengiz Mutlu and Management Systems and KYK Construction Chemicals Internal Control Manager Tuğçe Erdem, ESO Assembly Member and ESO Sustainable Green Industry Unit Coordinator Ömer Benli, Deputy Secretary General İsmail Öztürk, Sustainable Green Industry Unit Consultant Prof. Dr. It was delivered by Cengiz Türe and unit representatives.
Speaking at the delivery of the document, Ömer Benli said, “We stand by our Members with the calculation and reporting of the corporate greenhouse gas inventory and we fulfill the task of facilitating. We are preparing our industrialists for the Green Reconciliation process every day. To date, we have calculated and delivered the corporate carbon footprint of 17 companies. We gave preliminary information in terms of sustainability and efficiency. We make an effort with our companies to create awareness. On the other hand, our companies should be aware of its seriousness. We have to accelerate the processes of harmonization with the EU Green Consensus and the Carbon at the Border Mechanism.”
