AIMA Music Festival, which has been organized by the Ayvalık International Music Academy (AIMA) since 2013 and brings together the people of Ayvalık with classical music and jazz, is entering the summer with a full program. The festival, which will take place between 8 June and 24 September this year with the support of the Sabancı Foundation, will be completed with a total of 12 concerts throughout the summer months.
At the opening concert of the festival, O Da Tekfen Brass Band, consisting of Berke Buğra Gökkaya (tuba), Alper Çoker (trumpet), Ertuğrul Köse (cornus), Kumsal Germen (trombone) and Deniz Arda Başuğur (trumpet), performed at Ayvalık Municipality Grand Park Amphitheater. He will meet the audience at . In the concert, which will start on June 8, 2023, at 20:30, arrangements for the brass quintet of both popular and classical works will be performed. The concert will be open to the public and free of charge.
Ayvalık 9th AIMA Music Festival will be held in June with “Young Talents: İlyun Bürkev (piano) and Naz İrem Türkmen (violin)” on June 24, and “Nil Kocamangil (cello) and Cem Babacan (piano)” on 29 June. He will continue with his concerts.
