In line with the decision taken by Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality, urban public transportation vehicles will provide free service on 28 – 29 – 30 June and 1 July in order for the citizens to spend the Eid al-Adha more comfortably and peacefully and to make their visits with peace of mind.

Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality announced that the buses belonging to the Metropolitan Municipality will provide free transportation services due to the Feast of Sacrifice. The practice, which will start on Wednesday, June 28, the first day of the holiday, will continue until Saturday, July 1st.

Announcing the decision taken on his social media account, Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeynel Abidin Beyazgül said, “Sacrifice is sharing, brotherhood, goodness, abundance. Most importantly, the victim; unity is togetherness. I hope that you will receive good news, and I would like to give a good news to my fellow countrymen. Transportation will be provided free of charge during the Eid al-Adha. Our sacrificial slaughter places, hygiene teams and control mechanisms are ready. Let's not forget to follow the traffic and careful driving rules. Happy holidays, Şanlıurfa.” He placed his words.

The Metropolitan Municipality, which provides free public transportation during the holiday, will enable citizens to reach the Sacrifice slaughter areas more easily and to visit the cemetery more easily.
