Ahmet Yener, Chairman of the Supreme Election Board (YSK), made statements after the voting process in Ankara.

Some headlines from Yener's speech are as follows: “I congratulate all our mothers on Mother's Day. We commemorate Zübeyde Hanım, the mother of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, with mercy and gratitude. I kiss the hands of our martyrs and veteran mothers. Today is also May 14, Democracy Day, and I wish the elections to be beneficial to all our presidential candidates, parliamentary candidates and political parties. So far, our elections continue without any problems. Hopefully, the selection process will continue without any problems in the next process. I wish the process to be beneficial to the Turkish nation once again.

We could not confirm the accuracy of the claim, but all our ballot box committee chairmen were warned via SMS, just in case. Currently, any change in the presidential candidate ballot is not legally possible. There are four candidates. Here we reiterate that any candidate should not be crossed out on the ballot.”
