The World Astroturf Mini Football Championship, which will be organized by the International Mini Football Federation in Kocaeli, will start on Friday, 19 May at the Izmit Doğu Kışla Sports Facilities. In the opening match of the tournament, host Türkiye and Iraq will meet.

The World Astroturf Football Championship, which will be organized for the first time in our country by the International Mini Football Federation and Acun Medya, will be held at the İzmit Doğu Kışla Sports Facilities, which was renovated by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, between 19-25 May before the tournament. The championship, in which 16 countries will take part, will start with the match to be played between the host Turkey and Iraq teams on Friday, May 19 at 21.00.
OPENING AND SHOW MATCH AT 19:00
The opening ceremony will be held at 19.00:8,5. An exhibition match will be played after the ceremony where various shows will be held. In this match where many well-known names will take place, surprise names will be on the field at the head of the teams. Both the exhibition match and the opening match will be broadcast live on TV XNUMX screens.
On the other hand, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, which hosted the tournament, turned the facility into a mini stadium. Turkish National Team players played a friendly match among themselves on the field the previous evening. National players liked the field very much.
