With the MEB-supported Mastery Compensation Program, employers support their employees who require a mastery certificate. Rasyotek, a consultancy company specialized in incentives, ensures that employers are paid half of the net minimum wage for each employee, thanks to the program.

The Mastery Compensation Program, which was developed with the support of the Ministry of National Education (MEB) and has been in effect for about a year, offers an important opportunity for employers to support employees who want to certify their mastery in their profession. The program prevents employers from facing criminal sanctions by providing a solution that allows employees in many professions that require a Vocational Qualifications Authority (VQA) certificate to comply with the legislation. Rasyotek provides end-to-end consultancy services within the scope of the program, adding a new one to the benefits it provides to its customers in the incentive services of which it is the founder of the sector. Rasyotek, which monitors all the processes of the projects for employers from end to end, ensures that employers are supported with cash payments and half of the net minimum wage is paid for each employee on the account of employers, thanks to the program.

Rasyotek Chairman of the Board of Directors Haldun Pak, who made a statement on the subject, said, “The Mastery Compensation Program, which was announced and started to be implemented as of April 21, 2022, is an important step taken to increase labor productivity in Turkey. Employers who do not have a VQA certificate or have employees who have worked in the relevant profession for more than 10 years despite having a certificate can benefit from this program and the incentive it offers. The professional experiences of the employees are evaluated and evaluated through the program. This paves the way for a qualified workforce increase.”

Stating that they provide end-to-end consultancy services to businesses benefiting from the program, Haldun Pak continued his words as follows:

Emphasizing that the Mastery Compensation Program, unlike other government incentives, is a program that supports employers with cash payment, Haldun Pak summarized the details regarding payment and certification as follows:

“When the documents of the wage to be paid by the enterprise are delivered to the Vocational Training Center, the employer will be paid for 27 weeks, to be covered by the Unemployment Insurance Fund. Within the scope of the Mastery Compensation Program, half of the net minimum wage (4.253,40 TL) is provided for each employee to the employer's account.

Pointing out that there are nearly 2,5 million VQA certified employees in Turkey, according to the Vocational Qualifications Authority (VQA) data, Haldun Pak said, “With the compensation program, the obligation to obtain VQA certificate will be eliminated. Although the VQA certificate has a validity period of 5 years, the Certificate of Mastery will be valid for life without any time limit. Within the scope of this program, employers will be freed from the penal sanctions that will be applied to their employees who do not have a Mastery Certificate, which will be entitled to receive at least high school graduates, and those who do not have a VQA certificate.
