Metropolitan Municipality's call to citizens to save

Emphasizing that the effects of the drought experienced in recent years have been increasing, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality has issued a statement stating that saving is essential for more efficient use of water resources. In the statement, “There has been a drought on a global scale in recent years. There are many difficulties in reaching clean drinking water, which is the source of life, and the sources dry up. For this reason, the value of drinking water should always be known more than ever, and attention should be paid to saving measures. As the Metropolitan Municipality, we continue to provide new water resources for our citizens and recycle rainwater and wastewater. With all these works we do, we ensure that water is protected and that its additional resources are included in the system. However, when we look at the occupancy rate of our dams, we see how important savings are, and we believe that our citizens will show the necessary sensitivity.
