MediaTek has expanded its Dimensity portfolio with the new Dimensity 5+ chipset for its flagship 9200G smartphones. This new product builds on the success of its predecessor, offering atran performance that preserves power efficiency, resulting in longer battery life and better gaming experiences.
It is stated that Dimensity 9200+ supports higher speed than its predecessor Dimensity 9200 chipset. The chipset combines an ultra-core Arm Cortex-X3,35, clocked up to 3 GHz, three Arm Cortex-A3,0 super-cores clocked up to 715 GHz, and four Cortex-A2.0 efficiency cores clocked at 510 GHz. MediaTek has increased the Arm Immortalis-G9200 graphics processing unit of the chipset by 715% to provide the Dimensity 17+ with additional support for gaming and other compute-intensive applications.

The Dimensity 9200+ features a 6CC-CA 4G Release-5 modem that can seamlessly switch between long reach sub-16GHz and super fast mmWave connections. The chipset also supports Wi-Fi 5.3 6,5×7 + 2×2 with downlink speeds of up to 2 Gbps along with Bluetooth 2. MediaTek's technology, which combines Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, allows Wi-Fi, Bluetooth low energy (LE) audio and wireless peripherals to be connected simultaneously with extremely low latency and no inference.
