Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) continues the construction works of the "Closed Car Park and City Square Project", which it started to be built upon requests from the residents of Koru Mahallesi, without slowing down. On the empty land located on Ankaralılar Street and which has been idle for years; The project, which will include many equipment from the indoor car park to ornamental pools, from viewing terraces to amphitheater, is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues to implement new projects according to the priority needs and demands of the citizens.

The construction of the "Closed Parking Lot and City Square Project", which the Department of Science and Technology has implemented on the empty land on Ankaralılar Street in the Koru Mahallesi, which has been idle for years, continues without slowing down.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş, who shared about the project work on his social media accounts, said, “The wishes of our citizens are our orders. We continue the construction works of the Parking Lot and City Square Project, which we started to build upon requests from the residents of Koru Mahallesi, without slowing down.”

Scheduled to be completed by the end of the year

30 percent of the project started by ABB in line with the demands from the residents of Koru Mahallesi has been completed. The “Car Park and City Square Project” is aimed to be completed by the end of the year.

Within the scope of the project, an ornamental pool, water curtains, amphitheater, viewing terraces, sitting areas and kiosks will be located in a total area of ​​483 thousand 9 square meters, 211 square meters of which is closed, of the idle vacant land that will be turned into a city square.

In the lower part of the square, an indoor parking lot with a capacity of 12 normal vehicles, 952 electric vehicles and 330 disabled vehicles will be created on an area of ​​23 thousand 22 square meters. A modern and secure car park will be built with camera systems, automation infrastructure, ventilation and lighting systems, fire extinguishing and emergency guidance.
