One of the school programs organized for children in the Fairy Tale Castle, “Meet the Instruments” event started with great interest and participation. This time, the event was held not only for schools and children, but also with the participation of parents.

Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Fairy Tale Castle continues its educational and entertaining meetings with colorful workshops.

In this context, Assoc. In the event organized with the support of a volunteer consultant of Hale Basmacıoğlu, string instruments were explained in all details with her presentation. The participants, who saw the parts, sounds, similar and different aspects of violin, viola and cello in comparison with each other, had the opportunity to get to know the string instruments more closely.

Guest artists Ecesu Sezer and Feri Sakarya talked about their musical journeys by describing their own musical experiences with violin, Bengi Bahar Işkıncı for viola and Ada Su Keskin for cello. The artists, who created an entertaining educational environment by playing well-known movie and cartoon music and asking the children to guess, also presented mini concerts of classical music works.

Mentioning the purpose of the event, Fairy Tale Castle officials said, “Incorporating the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in the event content, Masal Castle invites children and their parents to think about global goals and take individual responsibility as individuals who are sensitive to the environment and society. Meeting with Instruments in the Castle event also covers the aim of 'Qualified Education', which is the 4th Article of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, in terms of gaining general culture for universal and national music and instruments. The activities of the Fairy Tale Castle will continue with a focus on achievement and in different concepts.” they said.
