The China-Central Asia News Agencies Forum with the theme of “Strengthening Media Cooperation for the Fate Union of China-Central Asia” was held in Beijing, the capital of China.
Fu Hua, head of Xinhua News Agency, stated at the forum that greater progress will be made in media cooperation, with the opening of a new page in relations between China and Central Asian countries.
Fu stated that they are ready to work together with the relevant parties to ensure peace and prosperity in the world, to intensify cultural contacts in the region, and to establish the Sino-Central Asian unity of destiny.
Foreign representatives attending the forum stated that they will intensify cooperation with Chinese media organizations, including Xinhua News Agency, to create a favorable public environment for cooperation with China.
Representatives of press organs including Kazakhstan Presidential Teleradio Complex (PTRK), Kyrgyz National News Agency (Kabar) and Tajikistan official news agency Hovar attended the forum organized by Xinhua News Agency.
At the forum, “China-Central Asia News Agencies Forum Beijing Consensus” was accepted.
