The groundbreaking ceremony of the Transporters Complex was held within the scope of the Metropolitan Industry and Industry Center (BÜSEM) project, which will gather many professions in a single center by Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality.
The Nakliyatçiler Sitesi, whose foundation was laid, will be spread over a total of 140 thousand square meters in two separate sections, 45 thousand and 185 thousand. With the completion of the BÜSEM project, which was established on an area of approximately 3 million square meters, the professions operating in scattered, unplanned and inadequate areas in various regions of the city will continue their activities as modern occupational sites in a remote area in the settlement area.
ŞAHİN: GAZİANTEP DOES NOT FIT IN ITS SHELL
In her speech at the groundbreaking ceremony, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin touched upon the story of BÜSEM and said:
“The story of this place is so important; first grew up organized. We broke export records. The small one needs to grow up healthy so that it can produce for the world with a larger vision. They separated the service sector from the small industry. There were other problems with small industry. Our Minister of Industry created the legal infrastructure of the specialized organized industry only for Körkün. Gaziantep does not fit in its shell. He wants to grow. Because we are on the silk road, which we call the City of Ayıntab-ı Cihan. Silk road means logistics road, development.”
GÜL: WE ARE CREATING A CENTER WHERE OUR WORKERS WILL PROVIDE EMPLOYMENT
Former Minister of Justice Abdulhamit Gül emphasized that thousands and tens of thousands of people will eat bread in BÜSEM in the very near future, and said, “We live very well in Gaziantep, in our country, as examples of how a city develops, how a country grows. Here. Here is our love, our dream is that there is no one left without food or job in Gaziantep, Turkey. Everyone should take home more bread. BÜSEM's work excites Gaziantep. Here, we are creating a center where each of our fellow citizens from different sectors such as industrial industrial zones will invest here and our workers will provide employment here.”
KOÇER: THE POTENTIAL HERE WILL ACHIEVE IN THE NEXT FEW YEARS
AK Party Gaziantep Deputy Nejat Koçer stated that every foundation laid in Gaziantep gains a new momentum and said, “Every foundation laid reaches the opening and increases employment and production. It grows the economy. I had the opportunity to visit other places of BÜSEM. Construction is going up everywhere. The potential here will unfold in the next few years. But first of all, the city will relax," he said.
Zafer Aydıngüler, Chairman of the Transporters Cooperative, said, “There is no other exemplary industry in this industry. Our organization is growing. We had to take the organization as an example and grow as a small industry. Fatma Şahin has given us a lot of support in this regard.”
Tevfik Göğüş, Chairman of the Chamber of Transporters and Craftsmen, stated that the previous site did not appeal to Gaziantep and said, "From now on, we will contribute to both employment and our country by teaching better things."
