Bursa Metropolitan Municipality will provide free transportation support for orthopedically disabled and bedridden patients to use their votes more comfortably in the 14 May Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.

Developing social projects to solve the transportation and access problems of disabled people, the Metropolitan Municipality has mobilized all its means so that orthopedically disabled and bed-bound patients can fulfill their civic duties in the Presidential and Parliamentary Elections to be held on Sunday, May 14. The Metropolitan Municipality, which will provide free transportation to orthopedically disabled citizens who use wheelchairs and battery-powered chairs in the elections, as well as bedridden and semi-bedridden patients, has prepared the lift system ramp vehicles within the Disabled Branch Directorate and the ambulances within the Health Affairs Branch Directorate for the elections. In this way, the Metropolitan Municipality will ensure that the people of Bursa who have a disability but cannot walk or are bedridden can go to the ballot boxes and fulfill their civic duties.
