Borusan Sanat will perform a concert in memory of Leyla Gencer this year, as it does every year. Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra (BIFO) commemorates Leyla Gencer on the 15th anniversary of her death with a concert on Thursday, May 25 at 20.00:19 at Zorlu PSM Turkcell Stage. BIPO and valuable guest soloists will come together in memory of Leyla Gencer and create a magnificent night. Stabat Mater, one of the two large-scale religious works of Giochiano Rossini, who was one of the most important composers who created the Italian Romantic opera style with G. Bellini and G. Verdi in the 2018th century, will meet the audience in this special concert. Korean coloratura soprano Jay Yang, mezzo-soprano Ezgi Karakaya, who won the first prize in the Leyla Gencer Voice Competition in XNUMX and was also awarded the BIFO Special Award and the Leyla Gencer Public Award, the successful British tenor Theodore Browne and the bassist who successfully performed important roles on world stages.
