Beylikdüzü Municipality, which prepares Beylikdüzü for the future, cares about the youth and produces projects with an understanding that supports their ideas, laid the foundations of Aziz Sancar Science and Art Center. The center, which was designed in line with the protocol signed between Beylikdüzü Municipality, Istanbul Technical University and Aziz Sancar Foundation, will be made up of completely recyclable and sustainable containers. In the center, which has a construction area of approximately 200 square meters; There will be STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) Laboratory, workshops and student accommodation areas. With the completion of the project, an environment will be provided for young people to develop new ideas and produce projects, and to strengthen their ties with science and art.

Beylikdüzü Mayor Mehmet Murat Çalık, together with the technical committee accompanying him, examined the works in the construction area on site. Stating that they have realized another dream of Beylikdüzü, Mayor Çalık said, “We also received the approval of the project from Aziz Sancar.
