The same shoes should not be worn on top of each other, if they are to be worn, these shoes should be ventilated and dried if there is excessive moisture and sweating.

The wound should be dressed in case of hitting shoes.

Stating that one of the most common problems in choosing the wrong shoes is shoe hits, and not treating the wounds caused by shoe strikes, it can cause serious foot health problems, Dermatology Specialist Dr. Mehmet Coşkun Acay said, “The wound that occurs where the shoe hits should be washed with warm water, the area should be dressed with skin lotions that have the power to clean the wound and kill germs after the area of the wound is dried. If the person is outside and needs to wear shoes again, the wound should be closed with closed dressing method to prevent infection. If the person does not have diabetes and circulation problems, wounds can heal within 7 to 10 days if shoes that do not cause impact and are regularly maintained are preferred. If it does not heal within this period, it may be a sign of serious health problems. In these cases, dermatology, plastic surgery and orthopedic physicians should be consulted.

Shoes that are not suitable for the foot structure should not be preferred.

Emphasizing that shoes that will increase the damage to the foot tissue after foot injuries, Acay should be avoided, “To avoid further damage to the wound and not gain a serious dimension, narrow and hard shoes should be avoided. In particular, shoes that put pressure on the foot and do not fit the foot structure should not be preferred. Specialist Dr. Acay said, “Unsuitable working environments for foot health, unhygienic conditions and unsuitable shoe preferences can increase the risk of infection. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to these factors in order to minimize the risk of infection.
