Angara TV, which started broadcasting services within the Keçiören Municipality, was inaugurated by cutting a ribbon with the participation of Keçiören Mayor Turgut Altınok and young people. The opening, in which the staff of the Press, Broadcasting and Public Relations Directorate were also present, was held special for the 19 May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day.

Speaking at the opening, President Altınok stated that Angara TV will be responsible for broadcasting with original content produced by young people and the staff of the press and broadcasting directorate on national and spiritual values, and said, “We are experiencing the honor and happiness of opening Angara TV on 19 May. In this channel, where we will introduce our culture, history and essence to our citizens by making intensive content planning and program sequences, we will also make full broadcasts about our Ankara. Our Angara TV program producers and journalist friends prepared content with a sense of responsibility, first against their conscience and then against our municipality and our nation, and they will make preparations in this direction from now on. We will bring to light the values ​​of Keçiören and Ankara that need to be discovered on the one hand, through our channel.” said.

After his speech, Altınok, who was the guest of the first live broadcast, wished the channel good luck.
