Ankara Metropolitan Municipality is reconstructing Altınpark Semi-Olympic Swimming Pool and Fitness Center, whose roof collapsed due to heavy snowfall in 2011. The pool, which is 90 percent complete, is expected to start serving at the end of this summer. The new facility, which will have an indoor area of ​​10 square meters, will include two semi-Olympic pools, as well as a children's pool, gym, fitness and sauna.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues to renew the facilities and sports complexes that have been idle for years in the capital city, decaying due to neglect or damaged for various reasons, and bringing them together with the people of Ankara.

Altınpark Swimming Pool, whose roof collapsed due to heavy snowfall in 2011 and later became idle, is being rebuilt by ABB.

90 PERCENT COMPLETED

Altınpark Semi-Olympic Swimming Pool and Fitness Center, which was built in place of the old pool that was idle for a long time, will have a closed area of ​​10 thousand 500 square meters. The facility, 90 percent of which has been completed, is planned to be opened to the service of the citizens of the Capital by the end of summer.

Within the scope of the initiated renovation project, in the facility; There will be 25 semi-Olympic adult pools with a length of 12,5 meters and a width of 2 meters, 13 children's pools with a length of 6,5 meters and a width of 2 meters, an adventure shower, gym, sauna, fitness room, steam room and cafeteria.

Altınpark, which hosts concerts of many famous artists, will become one of the city's attractions with the completion of the facility, which is under construction.
