Sculptor Beste Alperat, who reflects the Kirigami technique that spread to the world from Japan, to her works, opened the "Universe in the Universe" exhibition at the Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM) Gallery.
Bringing art lovers together with works from different disciplines, AKM Gallery will host sculptor Beste Alperat's solo sculpture exhibition “The Universe Within the Universe” between 12-26 May. The works of Beste Alperat, produced using the Japanese Kirigami technique and the reflection of mystical elements in the world of emotions, offer an intercultural approach. The works, which invite art lovers to a journey that tells about clarity, light and existence in the uncertainty starting from eternity, chaos and nothingness, reveal the state of being a part of a whole and an endless cycle.
