Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, which attaches importance to public transportation and continues its technological investments to facilitate the citizens' work while benefiting from transportation services, is increasing the number of Passenger Information Systems. Metropolitan Municipality provides service to citizens with 105 passenger information systems throughout the city.
PASSENGER INFORMATION SYSTEM
The Metropolitan Municipality, which informs the citizens with the technological investments it makes at the stops where the density is high, as well as the measures to reduce the passenger density, continues these investments. The number of Passenger Information System (YBS) at the public transportation stop was increased by the Department of Transportation.

Continuing its activities throughout the year, the Metropolitan Municipality has 1 in Başiskele and Kandıra, 2 in Dilovası, 3 in Kartepe, 4 in Derince and Körfez, 5 in Çayırova, 9 in Gölcük, 10 in Darıca, 21 in Gebze and 45 in Izmit. It serves citizens with a total of 105 MIS.
GREAT EASY FOR CITIZENS
With the passenger information system, citizens can learn the information of the lines stopping by, the duration of the upcoming public transportation vehicle and many other information. The maintenance and repair of these systems is carried out regularly throughout the year by the Department of Transportation.
PASSENGER INFORMATION SYSTEM
The passenger information system, with the information it shares with the citizens waiting at the stops, becomes their eyes and ears. These systems, which are mostly placed at the stops in the busy parts of the city, show the citizens at the stop, the lines approaching the waiting stop, how many minutes later the expected lines will arrive at the stop.
