International Painting Workshop Held with the Participation of 5 Artists from 28 Different Countries

The 8th International Painting Workshop, hosted by the Mehmet Nuri Göçen Foundation and hosted by the Old Tanneries restored within the body of Göçtur Turizm, was held with the participation of 5 painting artists from 28 different countries as well as Turkey.

The Painting Workshop, which has been organized since 2013 by the Mehmet Nuri Göçen Culture, Education and Art Foundation, bearing the name of the founder of Göçtur Tourism and mainly active in the fields of art, culture and education, brought together 28 painting artists from Turkey and various countries of the world, as well as those working in valuable universities of our country. once again brought the professors together in Kusadasi.

Its unique sense of hospitality, its own bay, beach, blue bayraklı Pine Bay Hotels & Resorts, which provides its guests with moments to be remembered with happiness with its beach, magnificent nature and works of art exhibited in all venues of the hotel, hosted the accommodation of the workshop participants as always.

The artistic works of the Painting Workshop, curated by esteemed painting artists Emel Atalay and Umur Türker, were carried out in the restored Old Tanneries behind DoubleTree by Hilton Kuşadası. The Old Tanneries also hosted the closing exhibition and cocktail of the workshop. DoubleTree by Hilton Kuşadası, which was put into operation within Göçtur with its first investment in Pine Bay Hotels & Resorts, is the first world brand to be brought to the town.

Expressing that the Mehmet Nuri Göçen Foundation for Culture, Education and Arts has been supporting art and artists for years, Emel Atalay said, “I am honored to be the curator of the collaboration with Umur Türker, and this year the 8th international painting workshop organized in Turkey, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, France. brought together well-known artists and valuable academics from different countries, including Uzbekistan and Russia. The artistic, cultural and emotional dialogues of the workshop participants, as well as the works they produced, once again reinforced the healing power of art.”
