Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Vahit Kirişci stated that the amount of water stored in Yusufeli Dam has reached 610 million cubic meters.

In his statement on his social media account, Minister Kirişci said: “The amount of water stored in Yusufeli Dam has reached 610 million cubic meters. The potential energy of the water stored behind the giant dam body will be converted into an annual average of 1,9 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, and the energy needs of 2,5 million people will be met. We will continue to bring our country together with giant works and to add energy to the Turkish Century.”
