According to statistics released by the China Logistics and Procurement Federation (CFLP), the Logistics Performance Index (LPI) in the country reached 53,8 percent in April and continued to rise.

In April, the performance index of rail, road, air, warehousing and postal services was above 50 percent. Due to the reduction in maritime transport, the performance index of water transport decreased to 49,2 percent.

On the other hand, in April, the order index in the logistics sector decreased by 1,4 points compared to the previous month and reached 52,3 percent.

According to experts, the development of the logistics industry in China is viewed optimistically, but problems such as imbalance and low income in the development of the industry are still not resolved. Support should be provided to logistics companies in areas such as the use of smart technologies, reducing taxes and granting loans.
