Art lovers welcomed the musical "1923", which was co-produced by Çolpan İlhan & Sadri Alışık Theater, Piu Entertainment and Zorlu PSM, with the mission of conveying the founding story of the republic to new generations, with the contributions of Zorlu Holding and Group companies.

Successful actors Kerem Alışık, Özge Özder and Ece Dizdar, as well as talented actors of the new generation Elif Gülalp, Ülkü Hilal Çiftçi, Metin Boray Dikenelli and Ozan Persentili, are in the lead roles of the musical, which was staged with a team of 200 people and took 18 months to prepare. The musical “1923”, which will be staged at Zorlu PSM throughout the season, will be on stage again on May 23-23 and June 24-19, after its premiere and first screenings on April 20.

100th anniversary special screening

Specially prepared for the 100th anniversary of the Republic, the musical “1923” takes the audience on a magnificent and fantastic time travel where they will witness history from the days of the National Struggle to the foundation of the Republic of Turkey, while presenting the National Struggle and the founding story of the republic to new generations. and explains its value in the most effective way. From light and sound design to dance choreographies, from the use of a live orchestra to period costumes, the musical, which has the distinction of being the biggest performing arts work that tells the foundation process of the republic starting with the National Struggle, was also the first domestic project to use all the technical infrastructure of Zorlu PSM to the fullest.

In the musical, the story of four friends who got lost during a museum tour and found themselves on the Bandırma Ferry, where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk started the National Struggle, is told, from the waves that shook Bandırma to the opening of the parliament, from the Great Attack to the foundation of the republic, and which contains fantastic elements from time to time. .
