In the food production workshop, which is Özer's next stop, the students stated that they distributed the pitas they made for the month of Ramadan to those in need in the neighborhood.

In our civilization, the way to heaven passes through service and help to others. I'm proud of you all. We are working to improve your conditions even more. We will publish the topic of mama with 81. I wish you all a happy Ramadan.” said.

“By the end of this month, we will establish animal food production facilities in our vocational high schools in 81 provinces”

In his statement regarding the visit, Özer stated that vocational high schools are schools where students learn by doing, and noted that both the production capacity here and the number of registrations obtained within the scope of intellectual property have increased in recent years with the support of the Ministry. Underlining that the Ministry also increased the capacity of free meals given to students, Minister Özer said that after the earthquake, with the opening of schools in 0 provinces on 71 February, free meals began to be offered to all pre-school students. Özer continued his words as follows: “We started to provide free meals to all our pre-school students, thus increasing the free meal capacity from 20 million to 1,8 million. It is our greatest desire to offer free meals to all our students as much as possible, and we are advancing step by step on this path.”

Stating that this food is produced in vocational high schools, teachers' houses, and practice hotels, Özer stated that a study was carried out to evaluate food waste and that a machine was first produced in a vocational high school in Konya to make food for animals from food waste. Noting that the machine produced was established in another vocational high school in Istanbul together with the Sancaktepe Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, which he visited, Özer said:

“Our aim here is to establish this production line, which produces animal food in 81 provinces, in all our schools, and to educate our students not only with respect to people; at the same time, we consider it as a part of education about raising young people who are respectful to the animals around them and sensitive to meeting their needs. Hopefully, we will convey the first productions here to the animals in the earthquake zone through our provincial directorates and we will establish animal food production facilities in our vocational high schools in 81 provinces by the end of this month. In this field, our vocational high schools will show a social sensitivity and support the transportation of these foods with our students, and they will deliver these foods to the animals.”

Stating that they are proud of their vocational high schools, Özer said, “As our vocational high schools have shown to the whole society that they are friendly to the whole society during the Kovid-19 process, they have also made great efforts to meet all kinds of needs, from food, bread to shelter needs or from sleeping bags to the stove used in tents, and they still are.
