Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar attended the Aerospace and Technology Festival TEKNOFEST 2023 held at Istanbul Atatürk Airport with Chief of General Staff General Yaşar Güler, Land Forces Commander General Musa Avsever, Naval Forces Commander Admiral Ercüment Tatlıoğlu and Air Forces Commander General Atilla Gülan.
Minister Akar, who held various meetings within the scope of TEKNOFEST 2023, which was also visited by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, met with the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan Gen. Zakir Hasanov, Minister of Defense of Burkina Faso Kassoum Coulibaly, Minister of Defense of Kosovo Armend Mehaj and Minister of Strategic Industry of Ukraine Oleksandr Kamyshin.
During the meetings, defense, security and cooperation in the defense industry were discussed.
On the other hand, Minister Akar congratulated Alper Gezeravcı and Tuva Cihangir Atasever, who will go to the international space station as Turkey's first “space travelers”.
