Supporting the Cinematic Academy project, which aims to strengthen the dreams of young people and children for a better future together, DİMES launched the Cinematic Academy DİMES Antakya Campus. The project, which aims to strengthen children's dreams of a better future with an interactive program that prioritizes learning by having fun and experience, is expected to spread over a 28-week period in the first stage. DİMES, which embraces the Antakya campus, which will become more beautiful and alive day by day with the active contributions of children aged 5-17 in the region, will continue to be with children constantly through activities such as planting saplings, making cookies together, attending classes with DİMES celebrities, as well as its support for the project. Events were held at the Cinematic Academy DİMES Antakya campus within the framework of April 23 and Ramadan Feast.

Turkey's leading beverage brand DİMES, which has supported meeting the food needs of the region since the first day of the earthquake, became the supporter of the Cinematic Academy project, which aims to strengthen the dreams of the youth and children for a better future together, and brought the Cinematic Academy DİMES Antakya Campus to life. In addition to the support it gives to the project, DİMES aims to be with children with different activities it will organize on the campus it owns.

Cinemasal Academy project, which was developed after the earthquake by Cinemasal, which has brought the Open-Air Cinema experience to the villages where children with limited opportunities live for years with its 8000 volunteers, was organized with trainer volunteers and technical teams from 34 countries. In the project, which is aimed to be spread over a 28-week period in the first stage, it is aimed to strengthen children's dreams of a better future with an interactive program focused on learning by having fun and experiencing. On campus, children will be supported by an extra-curricular approved education system and outdoor activities of 6 hours a day.

Saying that the Cinematic Academy DİMES Antakya Campus meets an important need of the region, DİMES CEO Ozan Diren said, “We continue our efforts to help meet the food needs of the region with our fruit juice and dairy products. In addition, we support the Antakya leg of the project initiated by Cinemasal, which we are proud to have a long-term cooperation with, with the aim of permanent social improvement. Cinemasal Academy DİMES Antakya Campus serves 5 children between the ages of 17 and 300 within the scope of the project, which aims to meet the learning needs of the children who do not have school in the region, to some extent, by combining the approved extra-curricular education system with outdoor activities. The campus, which will be a living space, will be beautified and developed day by day with the contributions of DİMES and the active participation of children with the participation of the 15 volunteer trainers of Sinemasal on the field. In addition to its support for the project, DİMES will continue to be with children through activities such as planting saplings, making cookies together, and attending classes with DİMES celebrities.

The first event held at the Cinematic Academy DİMES Antakya Campus was held on April 19 with the traditional Orta Play show held for Ramadan. In the event, which was held with DİMES products and popcorn, other tent-city residents in the vicinity were also hosted. Open-air movie screenings are also held on the campus on April 21; On April 23, gift packages prepared by DİMES were distributed to 5 children aged between 17 and 300, who will be actively training at the Cinematic Academy DİMES Antakya Campus, to celebrate both the National Sovereignty and Children's Day and the Ramadan Feasts and to welcome them, and an open-air film was screened.

Cinematic Founder Enes Kaya emphasized the close and long-term cooperation between DİMES and Sinemasal and said, “When we say we will go to the villages that are the hardest to reach children, DİMES has been with us all over Turkey for 11 years. it was together. We set out together to establish our Cinematic Academy DİMES Antakya Campus, we worked together, and we opened our doors to be hope for our youth and children. Together we support the dream of young people and children for a better future. Yes, we are strong together,” he said.

Living Campus area

Cinematic Academy DİMES Antakya Campus was established for children between the ages of 5 and 17 residing in Büyükdalyan and Derince Temporary Life Centers, after ground improvement and infrastructure preparation works on a 6,5-decare land. In addition to the multi-purpose stage in the campus area, there is a training area consisting of three tents: Mathematics / Science, Cinema / Drama / Music and Visual Arts / Game, First Aid and Psychological Support tents, Space Tent and Dream Wall. The campus also includes exhibition and sports areas, kitchen niches suitable for children, eating and drinking areas, fruit seedlings, vegetables, medicinal plant growing areas and living areas for volunteer teams.
