LEYLIM LEY
I turned to the dry leaf that fell from the branch
The morning wind scatter me, break me
Take my dust away from here
Rub me on your bare feet tomorrow
I bought the saz and went out to see the expatriate
I turned around and came to rub my face
What need is there to ask this and that?
See what I've become apart from you
The radiance of the moon hits my instrument
There is no one who speaks on my word
Come, my crescent brow, on my knee
Moon on one hand, you on the other, hug me
I haven't been to my home for seven years
I didn't look for a partner in trouble
If you will come one day, you will fall behind me
Ask your heart, not your ear
PRISON SONG
I was like an eagle in the sky.
I've been shot on my wings;
I was like a branch with purple flowers,
I was broken in the spring time.
It didn't help me,
Every day is another poison;
Iron in prisons
I clung to the bars.
I was enthusiastic like springs,
I was drunk like the winds;
like old sycamores
I fell over within a day.
My bread is more solid than my fortune,
My luck is worse than my enemy;
Such a disgraceful life
I'm tired of dragging.
I couldn't ask anyone
When I'm full, I can't wrap
I can't stop if I don't see
I broke up with my Nazli half.
LIKE CHILDREN
I had a never ending life
Like spring spreading across the countryside
My heart was beating fast without stopping
It's like there's fire in my chest
In some light, in some fog
I'm in a chest some love me
Sometimes I was on hand, sometimes I was in jail
Like a wind blowing everywhere
My love was a two-day obsession
My life was endless adventures
I had a thousand wishes inside of me
Like a poet or a ruler>
When I feel you hit me
I realized how tired I am
That I calm down, that I calm down
Like a spring pouring into the sea
Now I think poetry is your face
Now my throne is your knee
My darling, happiness belongs to both of us.
Like a relic from the sky
Your word is the perfect of poems
He who loves someone other than you is crazy
Your face is the most beautiful of flowers
Your eyes are like an unknown world
Hide your head in my chest darling
Let my hand wander through your beautiful hair
Let's cry one day, laugh one day
Like naughty kids making love
MOUNTAINS
My head is mountain, my hair is snow,
I have crazy winds,
The plains are too narrow for me,
My home is mountains.
Cities are a trap to me,
Human sohbetare forbidden,
Stay away from me, away from me
My home is mountains.
Stones similar to my heart,
majestic singing birds,
Their heads are close to the sky;
My home is mountains.
Give half to hands;
Give my love to the winds;
Send me hands:
My home is mountains.
If one day my destiny is known,
If my name is spoken,
If my place is found asking:
My home is mountains.
PRISON SONG
Do not tilt your head forward
don't mind, don't mind
Don't let your cry be heard
Don't mind heart, don't mind
Crazy waves outside
Come and lick the walls
These voices distract you
Don't mind heart, don't mind
Even if you don't see the sea
turn the eye up
The sky is the bottom of the sea
Don't mind heart, don't mind
When your troubles rise
Send a reproach to Allah
There are still days to see
Don't mind heart, don't mind
Lead horse ends on horse
Roads end gradually
Punishment ends on bed
Don't mind heart, don't mind
