The number of international vocational and technical Anatolian high schools established in order to carry Turkey's experience in the field of vocational and technical education to the international arena and to provide vocational education opportunities by bringing new horizons to students from foreign countries and students in Turkey has reached 10.

International vocational and technical Anatolian high schools, which were opened by the Ministry of National Education with the aim of ensuring international student mobility around the world, developing mutual cooperation between Turkey and other countries, and meeting the labor force demands of the economic and social sectors through vocational and technical education, are becoming widespread. Accordingly, the number of 2022 international vocational and technical Anatolian high schools opened in Turkey in 7 increased to 3 with 10 newly opened schools.

Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer emphasized that after the transformation made in vocational high schools, vocational high schools are now set as an example to the world countries and said, “Vocational high schools, which the students did not pass through with the coefficient application in the 28 February process and were on the verge of closing, went beyond transforming into an education type that gives hope for the future of the country after the paradigm shift we realized. countries began to be shown as an example. Noting that international vocational and technical Anatolian high schools offer new horizons to students in Turkey and young people from foreign countries, Ozer said: “Within the framework of the protocol we signed with our Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Istanbul Bahçelievler IMMIB Erkan Avcı MTAL, machinery and design technology; Beşiktaş İSOV Dinçkök MTAL, renewable energy technologies; Balıkesir İvrindi Nurettin Çarmıklı Mining MTAL, mining technology; Bursa Osmangazi Tophane MTAL, machinery and design technology; Konya Selçuk Mehmet Tuza PAKPEN MTAL, industrial automation technologies; Ordu Altınordu Ordu Turkey Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges MTAL, electrical-electronic technologies and Ankara Gölbaşı Mogan MTAl started to accept international students in the field of food and beverage services from the 2022-2023 academic year. Minister Özer added that, with vocational education gaining an international dimension by going beyond the borders of the country, young people receiving education in these schools will make significant contributions to Turkey in public diplomacy in the long run.

On the other hand, Özer announced that the application process for international vocational and technical Anatolian high schools will be held between May 2-26, 2023.

After the evaluation of the applications, he said that the written exam will be held on June 4 and the oral exam will be held on June 4-9. Stating that they will announce the results on June 12, Özer noted that the arrival of students in Turkey and their placement in schools will take place on September 11-15.
