Konya Metropolitan Municipality continues the construction of new workplaces across the City Hospital for the tradesmen on the street within the scope of the Great Larende Return, which it started with the Meram Municipality. Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that they will move the tradesmen to new workplaces to be built on an area of 9 square meters within the scope of the work they have started to revitalize Larende Street in accordance with its original form, so that the tradesmen will have the opportunity to continue their work in a more beautiful environment.
Within the scope of the Great Larende Transformation, which will be implemented in cooperation with Konya Metropolitan Municipality and Meram Municipality, the construction of workplaces on Larende Street, where tradesmen will move, continues.
Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Uğur İbrahim Altay said that they have implemented very important revival projects in the city center in order to bring Konya back to its glorious days in the century of Turkey.
Mentioning that one of these projects is the Great Larende Transformation, Mayor Altay said, “We are carrying out a very important urban transformation work for our city, together with our Meram Municipality, in order to revitalize Larende Street in accordance with its original form. Within the scope of this study, we are working to move the shops here to the old animal market of our Metropolitan Municipality, opposite the City Hospital. The construction of new workplaces, which started on an area of 9 thousand 445 square meters on the Adana Ring Road, continues rapidly. When our tradesmen move here, they will have the opportunity to continue their business in a better environment.”
The new workplaces, which are planned to be completed by the end of the year by Konya Metropolitan Municipality, will cost 85 million 105 thousand liras.
