Today (Thursday, April 27) a contract was signed between the Metropolitan and the company. The contractor company will deliver the new tram vehicles to the Metropolitan Municipality within 540 days.
MANUFACTURED WITH THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY
Trams produced with domestic technology that will provide comfort for citizens in transportation, Bozankaya's production center in Ankara Sincan 1st Organized Industrial Zone. The modern trams, which will be approximately 33 meters in length, have a passenger capacity of 298 people. While the number of seated passengers will be 66, the number of standing passengers will be 232. The structure of the vehicles designed in accordance with the latest technological developments will be produced in a way that minimizes maintenance and repair costs.
IT WILL BE SUITABLE FOR KOCAELİ'S HISTORY
The tram fleet, which is specially produced for Kocaeli and consists of a total of 10 vehicles, will be designed considering the historical texture of the city and the general appearance of the city. All parts of the vehicle will be in a modular structure that can be easily changed in a minimum of time. Trams will be produced in accordance with national and international standards in terms of emission and noise levels.
SERVICE IS PROVIDED WITH 16 STOPS
