Keçiören Municipality continues to equip the schools in the district with laboratories. In this context, new laboratory materials were delivered to İsmail Enderuni Secondary School in the district, and the laboratory class was opened, with the project "One Brick for Education, From Us" carried out by the municipality.
Speaking to the students and teachers, Keçiören Mayor Turgut Altınok, who attended the opening, said, “Congratulations on the laboratory class we opened with the laboratory materials we brought to our school. The day will come when you will rule our country, our nation. It takes a lot of work. You will manage our state, both in the private sector and in the public sector. That's why you need to prepare for those days from today. You will be hardworking and honest. You have to read the book too. If you read a lot, you will be successful.” said.
Stating that the past of the Turkish nation is full of successes and that Turkish history should be learned well, Altınok said:
“Atatürk says, 'O Turkish youth! As you get to know your ancestor, you will find strength, power and strength to accomplish great things.' Türkiye is bigger than Turkey both in terms of population and geography. Its borders do not start from Edirne and end in Kars. We have a Turkish population, that is, our geography of heart, in places that go on and on, saying the mountains of God, Altays, Bashkirs, Chuvash, Europe, the Middle East, and the Caucasus. I commemorate our alperens, all our heroes and martyrs, who came to the bosom of Anatolia by filtering from the Altai and the God Mountains, with mercy. You will learn about our ancestors, our beliefs and values, and you will protect our national and spiritual values. You will also follow science and technology well. The most powerful companies were IT, technology and software companies. The balance of the world has changed in 30 years. The informatics industries took the place of the oil, weapons and pharmaceutical industries and surpassed them. You will also work in these laboratories. There is Keçiören Municipality Technology Center (TEKNOMER). You will also produce software there. They said, 'You can't produce cars'. We produced TOGG. We have missiles, unmanned warplanes, a submarine and the Hürkuş that we took out of the hangar. Our President says, '21. century will be the century of the Turks.' I hope we will reach the level of contemporary civilizations that Atatürk showed with you.”
After his speech, President Altınok cut a ribbon with the participants and opened the laboratory class and made examinations.
