With the Presidential decision, the protocol on Finland's accession to NATO was approved. The decision on the approval of the protocol on Finland's accession to NATO was published in the Official Gazette with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The following statements were included in the Presidential Decree No. 9 published in the Official Gazette:
“The ratification of the attached Protocol on the Accession of the Republic of Finland to the North Atlantic Treaty, signed in Brussels on July 5, 2022 and approved by Law No. 7448, was decided in accordance with Articles 9 and 2 of the Presidential Decree No. 3.”
