Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer said that with the installation of 2023 thousand new interactive whiteboards in classrooms by the end of 45, the number will reach 620 in order to support education and training processes with technological infrastructure. Özer noted that in this way, the installation of interactive whiteboards in all classrooms that are actively used within the scope of the project will be completed.

The studies carried out by the Ministry of National Education to improve the technological opportunities of schools continue increasingly.

Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer stated that supporting education and training processes with technological infrastructure is an important element in achieving the goal of equal opportunity in education and said, “The interactive whiteboard for technology-supported learning supports the development of students with different learning styles, while making learning more permanent. It also increases the teacher's lecture and practice options.” said.

Özer said: “As of April 2023, the number of interactive boards installed in classrooms in all our state schools providing formal education has reached 560. The installation of 15 thousand interactive boards, the delivery process of which continues, will be completed in June and the number will increase to 575. In addition, it is planned to complete the installation of 45 thousand interactive boards by the end of 2023. When the installation of 45 thousand interactive whiteboards is completed, the number of boards will reach 620 and thus the installation of interactive boards in all classrooms that are actively used within the scope of the project will be completed.

Özer noted that as of the end of 2023, after the installation of interactive whiteboards in all classrooms in public schools providing formal education across the country is completed as planned, interactive boards will continue to be purchased to meet the needs of newly opened schools.
