Within the scope of the project, 103 million square meters of area have been scanned so far, approximately 800 thousand square meters of ghost net and 35 thousand baskets, pinters and other hunting tools have been removed. Thus, the lives of approximately 2,3 million aquatic creatures were saved.

While awareness studies are being carried out with fishermen, non-governmental organizations and municipalities, new fishing gears that are lost in this context are identified and removed.
