BelPlas AŞ, one of the affiliates of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, recycles the pieces of pruned or felled trees and wood residues and turns them into pellets to be used as fuel. The pellet obtained at the facility established in Kahramankazan is planned to be distributed as fuel to citizens receiving social support from ABB.

BelPlas AŞ, one of the subsidiaries of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which adds a new one to its environment-friendly and recycling-oriented projects every day, has started to produce fuel pellets.

2 TONS OF PELLETS ARE PRODUCED PER HOUR

BelPlas AŞ, one of the subsidiaries of ABB, which has established a plant for production in the Plain Nursery in Kahramankazan, collects the pieces of pruned or felled trees and wood residues throughout the Capital. The pieces of wood and wood brought to the facility are ground into powder sawdust and dried. The dried sawdust is then compressed and turned into pellets.

Established on a closed area of ​​1500 square meters, the facility aims to produce 2 tons of pellets per hour, while converting more than 10 thousand tons of waste wood, which does not have the characteristics of timber, to the economy.
