Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, together with Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar and Governor of Kayseri Gökmen Çiçek, examined the works of Kayseri Airport New Terminal Building, which is aimed to serve 8 million passengers and whose construction continues rapidly, and received information about the latest situation from the authorities.
The work program required for the rapid completion of the construction of the Airport New Terminal Building, the construction of which is being carried out by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure General Directorate of DHMI, continues in a devoted and feverish manner.
Mayor Büyükkılıç, who has been following the construction works of Kayseri Airport New Terminal Building and Apron Construction Project meticulously since the first day, along with Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar and Kayseri Governor Gökmen Çiçek and AK Party Kayseri deputy candidates who came to the city for the Ramadan Feast, He examined the latest situation on the spot and received information about the latest situation from the authorities.

Making statements during the examination of the Kayseri Airport New Terminal Building and Apron Construction Project, Minister Akar stated that the works are nearing the end, and said, “We are nearing the end of the construction of an airport, which is extremely important for our Kayseri, with the work of our municipality, our province and our related friends. We received information from our friends that around 85-90 percent of the construction was completed, and the rest would take place in a very short time, in 2-3 months. This terminal will be a terminal building worthy of our Kayseri. Extremely modern, at a level to meet all requests and needs. Our friends have put a lot of effort into this. I would like to express my respect and gratitude to the Minister of Transport, the Minister of Finance and our President for their support in this matter, at the point of bringing this work to our country and to our Kayseri.”
Akar noted that the new terminal building and Kayseri airport will also have an impact on tourism, and that there will be an important movement in Kayseri.
President Büyükkılıç, who stated that together with the Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, conducted inspections on the construction of the Kayseri Airport New Terminal Building, received information about the ongoing works from the contractor company officials and made evaluations, “Kayseri, which will respond to the transportation needs of growing and developing Kayseri, in a modern and comfortable way. We examined the ongoing works of the Airport New Terminal Building and Apron Construction Project together with our Minister of National Defense, Hulusi Akar, and our Governor, Gökmen Çiçek.
