Taking action to bring a new e-sports center to the capital city, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) started maintenance and repair work in the idle Education Center Building in Çankaya Birlik District.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which started a detailed maintenance and repair work in the Education Center Building, which has been idle for years in the Çankaya Birlik District, will transform the seven-storey building into an e-sports center for the youth of the Capital.

Announcing the start of the work for the new e-sports center on his social media accounts, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş said:

“We continue to increase e-sports centers in the Capital of Technology. We are giving life to the idle structure in Birlik Mahallesi and turning it into an e-sports center. Capital will lead the change in the information age, we are determined.”

Supporting the youth of the Capital with its technology and entrepreneurship centers, ABB continues to take steps for e-sports, which attracts great attention from young people all over the world.

The Metropolitan Municipality, which has brought an e-sports center built on an area of ​​1000 square meters to Çubuk district, will also bring Ankara's second e-sports center to Birlik Mahallesi. The facility, which is planned to be one of the most modern and technologically equipped e-sports centers in the city, will serve digital world enthusiasts.

In the e-sports center built on a total area of ​​5 thousand 395 square meters; It is planned that there will be an individual game hall with a capacity of 25 players, a group study room with a capacity of 4 5 players, a multi-purpose hall with a capacity of 86 users, a game competition hall with a capacity of 72 users, a live broadcast studio and a cafeteria.

In the building, which will have a modern design, amateur or professional e-sports players will be able to participate in national and international tournaments, as well as many technological events.
