Working in the field from the first day to heal the wounds of earthquakes that caused great destruction, Turkcell is preparing to implement development and welfare projects that touch the society in the disaster area with its many brands in its ecosystem. We will implement many projects that will be good for local producers, SMEs, farmers and tradesmen in the region. Afterwards, we will touch on different aspects of social and cultural life, from culture and arts to gastronomy, from children to young people and women. What's in the Heart Bond Projects?
Turkcell starts with projects that will create employment in order to revitalize life in the region. Based on the idea that restructuring in the disaster area will be possible with economic development, steps are taken one after the other to return earthquake survivors to business life. Turkcell announced that it will provide employment opportunities to 100 people living in the provinces affected by the earthquake, resettling in different provinces after the earthquake, or whose first-degree relatives were affected by the disaster, with the #TurkcellİstihdamSeferberliği, which it launched last month. Now he is establishing a 'Call and Vocational Training Center' in Hatay. In this center, where 50 people will be recruited in the first stage, the earthquake victims will be employed, trained and employed. It is aimed to increase the number of employees by developing business models suitable for remote and home working through vocational training. On the other hand, Turkcell Academy will support 5 earthquake victims with technical and personal development programs. A qualified workforce will be brought to the country through software, software testing expertise, robotic coding, cloud technologies, sales and marketing trainings to be given to earthquake victims. Those who complete vocational training will have the opportunity to find employment in Turkcell, Paycell, Atmosware, Turkcell Global Bilgi and Turkcell Dealer Sales channels.
Tradesmen and SMEs will be supported with Paycell, Pasaj, İşTurkcell
Local and small businesses, which are the locomotive power of the earthquake region, will continue to produce and take place in the market. İşTurkcell, one of Turkcell's digital business services, digital payment and financial services platforms Financell and Paycell, and SMEs, tradesmen and new businesses in the region will also be supported with different projects. Digital bazaars to be established on behalf of each province in the electronic marketplace Pasaj will build a bridge from the region to the world.
Children and women priority
Projects for the women and children most affected by the earthquake will also be put into use. In the Paycell Handicraft Showcases project; women who make a living with handicrafts will benefit. Turkcell Bizce will support the development of women entrepreneurs in the region. The focus will be on projects that will contribute to the education of children, such as the social responsibility project 'Transform into Education', carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education. In addition, activities organized for the moral motivation of children in earthquake regions, primarily in Hatay, will continue until April 23. Similar socialization and rehabilitation activities will be expanded in the region. Turkcell will be by the side of earthquake survivors throughout the year with harvest season activities for tent cities and local producers.
