In Bursa, the Metropolitan Municipality, which takes care of stray animals in every field from nutrition to health, has now put 3 'Haybulans' into service. In this way, friends with paws injured for any reason will be able to intervene immediately with haybulans.

In Bursa, teams affiliated to the Metropolitan Municipality, Veterinary Services Branch Directorate, which is always with the stray animals, carried out 2022 thousand 3 sterilizations and 675 thousand 19 treatments throughout 752. In the same period, 66 dog kennels and 79 cat kennels were placed in rural areas, and 60 thousand 95 kilograms of food were fed. In the first 3 months of this year, 1.196 sterilizations and 6001 treatments were applied, while 8 dog kennels and 8 cat kennels were placed in rural areas, and 15 kilograms were distributed. On the other hand, as the Stray Animals Rehabilitation Center, which is under construction in Gümüştepe District, is starting to take shape, the Metropolitan Municipality started to provide personnel, vehicles and equipment in accordance with its 240-hour service policy with the opening of the center.

Within the scope of these studies, the Metropolitan Municipality, which included 3 veterinary technicians and 10 new workers in February, commissioned 08.00 haybulans that will serve between 17.00-3 for now. Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş came to the Stray Animal Treatment Center and examined the haybulans. Thanks to Haybulans; Stating that all injured animals reported to the number 7161166 can be intervened in a short time, Mayor Aktaş said, “Managing the city is possible with multi-dimensional thinking and multi-directional action. Street animals, such as infrastructure, zoning, road works, are among our duties. We cannot leave our lives on the street alone. We have to deal with them in every way. Because stray and unhealthy animals represent a serious danger to the city. These vehicles, which our trained and experienced personnel will serve as well as our technical personnel, have the quality and equipment that will befit our Bursa.
