Istanbul Governorship announced the routes to the TEKNOFEST 2023 event area, which will be held at Atatürk Airport.
In the statement made by the Governorship of Istanbul, ”
TEKNOFEST2023, the world's largest aviation, space and technology festival, will be held at the Istanbul Atatürk Airport Event Area between April 27 and May 1, 2023.
We recommend that the visitors take advantage of the rail system (Metro and Marmaray) transportation opportunities instead of private vehicles to reach the festival area in order to prevent congestion and delays that may arise from transportation due to the expected visitor density in participation.
MARMARAY
- Halkalı– On the Gebze Marmaray line, there will be expeditions at 15-minute intervals.
- Visitors who will use Marmaray can get off at Yeşilyurt Station to reach the Teknofest area and reach the festival area with IETT Ring buses.
METRO
- M1A Yenikapı – Atatürk Airport Metro line can be used to reach the Teknofest Area directly.
- There will be flights between M1A Yenikapı - Atatürk Airport Metro Station at 6-minute intervals during the festival.
SPECIAL CAR PARKING PLACES
- On M1A Yenikapı – Atatürk Airport; Yenikapı, Police – Fatih, Sağmalcılar, Bus Station, Merter, Zeytinburnu, Ataköy – Şirinevler İspark,
- M3 and M9 are on Kirazlı Kayşehir Center and Olympic Bahariye; Metrokent, Mahmutbey, Yenimahalle, Kirazli Ispark,
- M2 and M6 are on Yenikapı Hacıosman and Levent Boğaziçi-Hisarüstü; Yenikapı, Şişhane, 4.Levent, Industry, Seyrantepe, Hacıosman, İspark,
- T1 Kabataş-On Bağcılar;Kabataş,Sultanahmet, Cemberlitas, Sehremini Ispark,
- M4 Kadıköy-On Sabiha Gökçen; Unalan, Soganli Ispark,
- on the M5 Üsküdar-Çekmeköy; Baglarbasi, Carsi, Dudullu, Cekmekoy Ispark
You can reach Teknofest by metro by leaving your private car in the car parks.
IETT
- During the festival, ring trips will be organized between Yeşilyurt Marmaray Station and TEKNOFEST Event Area.
Visitors who have to use private vehicles; taking into account parking capacities;
- With the World Trade Center Parking Lot and the area next to it
- The multi-storey car park at the airport entrance can be used.
It is important to comply with the warnings and direction signs to be made by the personnel in charge in order to prevent possible disruptions in transportation.
