Producers involved in the “Mera İzmir” project of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality donated 111 small cattle and one cattle to the earthquake victims. İZTARIM General Manager Murat Onkardeşler stated that over one ton of roasting would be obtained with donations, and said, “Our shepherds have acted as an example to both the people of İzmir and Turkey. We will quickly deliver the roasts to the region,” he said.
The shepherds, supported by the Mera İzmir project carried out by the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, extended a helping hand for the great earthquake disaster. Shepherds donated 111 small cattle and one cattle to the earthquake area. With donations received from producers, roasting will be done in İzmir Metropolitan Municipality's Ödemiş Meat Integrated Facility to be delivered to earthquake zones. Now those shepherds donated their animals for roasting in the earthquake zone. This should set an example for both the people of Izmir and Turkey. Together, we will overcome these difficult days with solidarity. Everyone is ready to do whatever they can. We will get over a ton of roasting from this donation. We will quickly deliver the packaged roasts to the region," he said.
