Search and Rescue Dog Proteo From Mexico Died

Proteo, the dog of the team that came from Mexico to participate in the search and rescue efforts after the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, died.

After the Maraş-centered earthquakes that caused great destruction, the work of the teams that came to help from all over the world to participate in search and rescue activities continues in different provinces.

Proteo, the trained search and rescue dog of the team from Mexico, died during the work. How Proteo died was not disclosed.

The Mexican Ministry of Defense shared the following: “We are deeply saddened by the loss of our companion Proteo. You fulfilled your duty as a member of the Mexican team in the search and rescue of our brothers in Turkey. Thank you for your heroic work.”
