Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Council pressed the button for earthquake victims to benefit from public transportation free of charge. With the decision taken with the joint motion of the AK Party, CHP, IYI Party, MHP and SP group deputies in the metropolitan council, earthquake victims who come to Kocaeli and are registered with AFAD will benefit from free transportation. With the article passed by the parliament unanimously, earthquake victims will be given guest cards and the cards will be valid until the end of the year.

Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, which took action after the earthquake that caused destruction in 11 provinces centered in Kahramanmaraş, sent all its teams to the region. Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, which provides services in many areas from search and rescue to infrastructure services in order to heal the wounds of the earthquake as soon as possible, has commissioned an important service for the transportation of earthquake victims coming to Kocaeli. “GUEST CARD”
Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, which meets all the needs of the earthquake victims who came to our city after the earthquake, has now started the "Guest Card" application to facilitate the urban transportation of the disaster victims.

With the 'Guest Card' commissioned by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, earthquake victims can benefit from private public buses and all public transportation vehicles belonging to the municipality free of charge.
EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS REGISTERING TO AFAD
Kocaeli Provincial Directorate of Disaster and Emergency - AFAD only asks for their IDs and a passport-sized photograph from citizens on the Earthquake Victim list. Citizens who do not have a photo will be photographed with a web camera. Citizens will be able to get their cards from the Izmit, Gebze and Gölcük Travel cards office. In addition, the mobile travel cards tool will start to issue guest cards to earthquake victims in important places to be determined throughout the province.
