Kılıçdaroğlu, İmamoğlu and their delegation's first stop in Malatya was the gathering area created in an enterprise called Sidelya Park, which opened its doors to earthquake victims. The delegation, which shared the suffering of the citizens who experienced the disaster, listened to the demands of the citizens. Citizens who shared the pain they experienced mainly made demands such as tents, water, electricity, stove, hygiene materials and underwear.
An interesting dialogue took place between İmamoğlu and a citizen. İmamoğlu said, “Don't be fooled by the few prefabs they have built. How can we survive in the tent at -16 degrees? Let domestic production enter mass production. They make it from wood in Gümüşhane. We also accept the tree. Not with a tent, my President. It does not stop, there is a patient, there is something. Wolves are coming” to his words, “It cannot be done with tents in places where there is destruction. You can stay in the tent for 10-15 days.”

The crying of a female citizen waiting in front of the wreck, hugging Kılıçdaroğlu was heartbreaking. Kılıçdaroğlu said that the painful woman had relatives in the wreckage and said, “What will we do? They were very sweet people” to his words, “It is difficult, I know. There is nothing we can do but wait. We will wait patiently. Yes, it is a great pain, but we will wait.”

Calling for tents, Kılıçdaroğlu said, “Tents should be sent to all earthquake zones. People suffer greatly from the cold. They suffer. They say, 'Send us a tent'. I am calling out to all companies that produce tents in Turkey. If you have tents, if you have a stock of tents, please contact our metropolitan mayors. How many tents, give us. Kılıçdaroğlu and the accompanying delegation visited the earthquake victims in Sena Park Cafe and Ladybug Park in Malatya, respectively.
During a visit to the Ladybug Park, a young earthquake survivor hugged İmamoğlu and cried, "Help us please," and this caused emotional moments.
