The mobile kitchen vehicle of the Gendarmerie General Command, which came to the region after the 2 major earthquakes that caused great destruction in Kahramanmaraş, serves the earthquake victims by producing 11 thousand breads and 7 thousand hot meals daily. Long queues form in front of the gendarmerie vehicle at meal times.

After the earthquakes that caused destruction in Kahramanmaraş and 10 cities, the Gendarmerie General Command took action and commissioned 2 mobile kitchen trucks for earthquake victims. Trucks, which include cooks and mobile kitchen personnel, are deployed in Kahramanmaraş National Administration Square, and they provide daily hot meals and bread to meet the food needs of earthquake victims. While hot food is cooked for 7 thousand people daily in two trucks, 11 thousand breads are also made. Earthquake victims form long queues for free hot food at meal times in front of the Gendarmerie General Command.

Stating that the hot food distributed by the Gendarmerie General Command in the earthquake area is very important, Salim Şahin said, "I came from Niğde to help. I'm a driver, I carry earthworks. I've eaten here before and I'm satisfied. The interest is very good,' he said. Earthquake survivor Hasan Bekçioğulları also stated that he came to the Gendarmerie TIR at mealtimes because very delicious food was prepared and said, 'Good luck. God bless our state. The service is great too. Currently there is no house, no bark. We are completely out. We are trying to spend the day with our own means. This hot meal was very good for us. God bless,' he said. Mustafa Özbek, who was waiting during the meal, stated that they had a hot meal thanks to the truck that came right after the earthquake, and said, 'I am in an earthquake, our house is heavily damaged. The mobile kitchen has been here since just after the earthquake. The food is very good. Thanks to the commanders, they meet all our needs.”
