Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality has started the loading of the ship, which will help the disaster victims in the earthquake zone Hatay Iskenderun, with accommodation and evacuation if necessary. The ferry, which has a kitchen for hot meals, shelter areas, an infirmary, psychological counseling rooms, and playgrounds for children, will set off with 109 personnel with the aid materials collected in IMM centers.

After two major earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, IMM sets out 1.200 ferries, each with a capacity of 2 passengers, to support the victims and heal the wounds. In the morning, aid parcels are loaded on the ferries that will set off for Hatay Iskenderun. In the ferries, whose priority is to help with accommodation and evacuation when necessary, living and sheltering areas for citizens, as well as showers and toilets; There is a kitchen that can serve 3 people for 200 meals a day, an infirmary and psychological counseling rooms, and a tanker of fuel. On the other hand, playgrounds were created for the children affected by the disaster on the ship. A total of 109 personnel on board, including the crew, health personnel, psychologist, driver, kitchen personnel, security personnel and kindergarten teacher, will support the disaster victims.

Ferries will depart on Saturday morning and are expected to arrive in Iskenderun at the end of the 25-30 hour journey. Ferries will be a band-aid for the earthquake that affected millions of people.
