The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry continues to distribute animal tents and fodder to the victims whose barns were damaged in 10 provinces that experienced earthquake disasters. Veterinarians continue the treatment and control of stray and stray animals in the field. In addition, stray animals are provided with food support.

In addition to the teams of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the works aimed at the citizens affected by the disaster in the earthquake area are carried out under the coordination of AFAD.

In this context, animals that perished due to the earthquake and destroyed barns are detected in the disaster area.

The animal tents shipped to the region are then assembled by the teams affiliated to the Ministry.

To date, 523 animal tents have been sent to the earthquake region for animals whose shelters have been damaged.

5 TONS OF ANIMAL FEED SENT

Under the coordination of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and with the support of volunteers, 5 tons of animal feed was sent to the disaster area.

In addition, the distribution of 43 tons of food, provided under the coordination of the General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks, continues for the care and feeding of stray animals affected by the earthquake.

INJURED ANIMALS ARE TREATED

In addition to the veterinarians staffed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, with the support of volunteer veterinarians, animals are also treated and controlled in the earthquake-affected areas.

In order to meet the needs in the disaster area, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry continues the shipment of animal tents and feed and food in a coordinated manner.
