Stating that the city has an important economic potential, Çiğdem Panayır said, “Denizli is an important production region for textile, agriculture and industry. It is a city with high economic potential. With the completion of the Izmir - Denizli highway, which is under construction, the trade volume of the region will further develop. There was a gap in rentals due to the universities that switched to the distance education system due to the earthquake. After the last earthquake, demand for both Sarayköy and Denizli increased. Currently, the number of our citizens coming from the eastern provinces due to the earthquake is quite high. Now the demands have also changed. Those who come mostly prefer furnished apartments for rent. Sarayköy and Honaz are in demand as both commercial and industrial areas. Due to the city hospital under construction, the Karahasanlı region also attracts the attention of investors as a place open to development.”
